Multi-property RMS Cloud setup guide
Connect 2 to 30 RMS Cloud properties to a unified group management dashboard.
The Cloudrms multi-property setup connects to several RMS Cloud property accounts simultaneously, each using its own API credentials. This guide covers the connection and configuration process.
Prerequisites
- An active RMS Cloud account for every property in your group (separate RMS Cloud accounts, not sub-accounts)
- API access enabled on every RMS Cloud account (check with RMS Cloud support if in doubt)
- API keys generated from each RMS Cloud account (see the RMS Cloud access guide)
- An active Cloudrms subscription covering multi-property management
Step 1: add your first RMS Cloud property
In your Cloudrms account go to Multi-Site → Properties → Add property. Enter the property name, RMS Cloud API key and API endpoint URL for the first property. Click "Test connection" — the module will confirm the property name returned by the RMS Cloud API. Save the property.
Step 2: add the remaining properties
Repeat the step 1 procedure for every additional RMS Cloud property. There is no cap on additions up to the 30-property ceiling of the current module plan. Each property uses its own API credentials.
Step 3: configure the group KPI dashboard
Go to Multi-Site → Group dashboard. Select the indicators you want displayed at group level: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, arrivals today, departures today, 7-day pickup, net revenue. Rearrange the KPI tiles by drag and drop. The dashboard refreshes data from every connected RMS Cloud API every 15 minutes.
Step 4: set up rate parity monitoring
Go to Multi-Site → Parity → Configure. Select the room-type pairs between properties to monitor for rate parity (for example "Standard Double" across every property in the group). Set the parity alert threshold — the maximum rate gap before triggering (default: 15%). Alerts are sent by email and shown in the dashboard.
Step 5: bulk rate operations
To apply the same rate change to several properties in one go, open Multi-Site → Bulk rate update. Select properties, rate plans and date range. Enter the new rate or adjustment (absolute or percentage). Review the preview which shows the new rates per property before validation. Click "Send to RMS Cloud" — rates are pushed to each selected RMS Cloud property's API simultaneously. A confirmation screen shows the success/failure status per property.
Troubleshooting multi-property connection issues
If a property shows "Connection error" in the dashboard: verify that the API key has not been rotated in the RMS Cloud admin panel of that property; verify that API access is still enabled on the RMS Cloud account; try re-entering the API credentials. Contact support@cloudrms.org with subject "Multi-property connection issue" naming the affected property if the issue persists.
